I did make a mistake I should not have bought the Yogo’s and  bought more kelloggs cereal or something because then I would have got another $10 off my order from Albertsons. I do have enough items for the fule for school rebate so I will turn that in for $10 back.

Update: I went back to Albertsons with my receipt and asked why I didn’t get $10 off. She apologized and gave me $10 in cash back. WHOOPEEE. That means I got a ton of stuff for free after the mail in rebate.

Saturday Week 4

Only two more days left. I better not ruin it now! $39.57 for two days should be pretty easy. This morning after my coffee I made everyone ham and cheese omelets. I had a ton of errands to run so off I went to get my stuff done with both kids. I went to Walgreen’s and bought some more Cheez-its $5.00. Then I took the kids to Bookman’s and bought tortillas from the Tamale guy. $2.00 I know you take a risk buying from someone’s home kitchen but I am a sucker for fresh made tortillas. There is no comparison to the thick tasteless ones you buy in the grocery store. Once we got home I made the kids Quesadillas for lunch. We had my brother in laws birthday party tonight. We at dinner there we had veggies and dips, Watermelon, pineapple, meatballs and cocktail weenies. Then of course we had cake for dessert. Yummy! 32.57 left for tomorrow.

Friday Week 4

Only 47.53 left. Son was much better today and went to school. Breakfast was Nutrigrain bar for son, Cereal for daughter and I. Hubby worked from home and he just had coffee. Lunch time I threw a bunch of leftover into rice and had chicken fried rice. Hubby made Daughter and him a lasagna bake. Son had ravioli, milk, oranges and garlic bread (School Lunch) When son came home we had blue berries and cheese crackers for a snack. I went out with good friend for dinner and had a Chicken burrito at Chipotle $7.96 ( I could only eat half) Husband made the kids a Pizzoes (Pizza topping topped nachos) The kids love them. I have 39.57 left in my budget.

Thursday Week 4

Only 47.53 left in my budget and I have so much planned for the next few days. I am going out with a friend on Friday night. I am sure we will go out to dinner. Then after that We are going to the local casino so I can gamble away all the money I have saved in the last few weeks. (not really) Then on Sunday I am finally going to take the kids to the water park. I know I can’t bring food in so I will have to make sure I have enough money in my budget to cover lunch there.
Son stayed home with a migraine. Once he was feeling hungry enough he had two eggs for breakfast. Daughter and I also had eggs. For lunch we had tuna salad sandwiches with blue berries. For snack Daughter had a banana and Son had an Apple. Dinner was great! I bought some Swai Fillets at the store on Tuesday. We have never had it so we looked it up and found out it is a fish from Vietnam and it has the consistency of catfish. Hubby spiced them up and blackened in a pan. It was delicious. We had the fish with green peas and saffron rice. It was beautiful too. I love lots of color on my plate. The kids ate every bite! No money spent today.

Wednesday Week 4

$56.84 left for this week. For breakfast son had a glass of milk and a nutrigrain bar. Daughter had cereal I had the last blueberry pancake. Lunch Son had Daughter and I had Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches. After lunch I stopped by sprouts to buy some Pineapple for Sisters party on Saturday. I ended up buying some produce for us too for the rest of the week. I spent $9.33. For dinner we had left over ribs, baked potatoes and steamed brocoflower. The kids didn’t think they would like it but once they tried it they gobbled it up. I now have 47.53 for the rest of the week.

Tuesday Week 4

89.01 left to spend. After searching my websites last night I found some great deals to be had at Walgreens. So I was anxious for Daughter to wake this morning so I could be off. (She is a late sleeper) Son had cereal for breakfast, Daughter had blueberry pancakes, I had sliced peaches and yogurt. Off we went to Walgreens. As you can see in a previous post I spent 30.71. I bought some of these items for my Mom so she will pay me $4 for 4 PBs, 4 Ragu, and 8 Jellos. Also once I subtract the non food items from some of my receipts those became 0’s. So I really spent 19.07 on food at Walgreens. At Albertsons I spent $11.16. I came home for lunch and had left over Brat and a banana, Daughter had Juice, Chicken nuggets, and grapes. Son had Egg Roll, Rice and Peaches, Green Beans, and Milk.(School Lunch) Dinner time I took Son to a going away party for one of his friends at Peter Piper Pizza. I had a coupon for a free personal pizza. So I ordered that and a Medium drink and spent 1.93. Hubby and Daughter had Chicken Nuggets. Then ice cream for dessert. $56.85 left in my budget.
